About the Men's Academy
We strive to empower men in their identity as Beloved Sons of God, strengthening them in their natural mission as Leaders, Protectors, and Providers; and bolstering them in their supernatural mission as Priests, Prophets, and Kings. We uphold the truths about the nature of men, the issues they face, and the path to spiritual growth.

Dr Phillip Chavez
Dr. Phil Chavez combines over 25 years of pastoral ministry and study in Catholic Manhood. He founded The Men’s Academy to help men reach the full human and spiritual potential that God intended through communicating core truths about masculinity,
His doctorate was received from the University of the Holy Cross, Rome, where he focused on character development according to Church teaching. Earlier he earned a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Studies, as well a graduate degree in Philosophical Anthropology, concentrating on the nature of the human person. His training in theology is also extensive, and he has a background in the Doctors of the Church, particularly Thomas Aquinas.
Dr. Chavez has established 18 pillars of manhood as a basis for understanding the complete man. These concern the key elements of a man’s Mission, Identity, and Journey – all of which are vital to understand and embrace in the current age.
In his spare time, he enjoys photography, camping, power-walking, kickboxing, and classical music. As an avid pro-life advocate, frequently Dr. Chavez can be found sidewalk counseling and praying in front of the abortion mills in the area he lives.
